BUDDY HYPHEN BAKER DOT US (Hereafter BBUS or bbus) is a dream that I have had for many many years. This site is the result of alot of helpful and kind individuals that have helped me realize the dream of having my own website. This dream started in 1998 when I rebuilt my first website on Tallahassee Freenet.  Since that time, I have learned so much and I cannot thank everyone enough for what they have helped me to expand my knowledge of both HTML and Linux Operating System tasks.

I obtained the domain name in 2008. and have been working stedily towards bringing the server and website online.

BBUS has had TWO servers since we launched in 2008.

You can find information about our old Server, which has been retired.

The server pictured above was obtained in October 2010  She is a Gateway 6800 Server, running Debian 5.0 (Lenny).
She has a Total capacity of 450 Gigabytes of Storage for user directories, and about 6.6 Gigabytes available for the operating system.  Prior to being used for BBUS, this server ran Windows 2003 Server, and was converted to Debian 5.0 at the end of November 2010.  I would like to thank Dan Thompson, Technology Connection, Barre VT for the server we now use, as well as for his continued support of my endeavors.  Dan has also agreed to be our Network Admin as well, so we will have a dedicated connection to the world.  BBUS admins are still working on the server, prior to it being moved to its permanent location in our server room downtown, which probably will happen sometime in Summer or Fall of 2011.
